In Loving Memory of Our Dear Friend Boxer
By: Benjamin

A beloved and faithful friend to all of the animals on the farm had recently passed away. Boxer was about 12 years old when he died. He had fallen and collapsed to the ground and couldn’t get up. He was supposed to be sent to the animal hospital, but later all the animals realized Boxer was actually sent to the slaughter house. He will be missed by the survivors Clover, and Benjamin. Boxer lived a fair life and worked harder than twenty men put together. He was well respected and very notorious for the phrases, “I will work harder, and also “Comrade Napoleon is always right.” Since Boxer was so devoted and dedicated to do anything he could for Comrade Napoleon, he shouldn’t have been sent to the Slaughter house by Napoleon. There is now a grave sight with a decorative wreath on it in honor and respect of Boxer. He will be missed by many, and is still loved by all.

Dirty Buisiness
By: Boxer

Is selling another one of your own kind for a desire you think you need right? I think not. Napoleon did as though this, ever since he found an old crate of whiskey his desire to feel that same feeling that he had that same night has just sky rocked very high. That night, the animals hear singing coming from the stalls. The next morning the pigs woke up dreaded eyes and tired bodies. Ever since that night Napoleon had searched for ways to make alcohol and he even changed the commandant from “no animal shall drink alcohol” to “no animal shall drink alcohol to an excess” Ever since the addiction started Napoleon has been hooked. It is quit the quincedence that the same day boxer was taken to the “vet” that Napoleon had the money to go out and buy more whiskey. Quincedence? I think not. Napoleon has also set up a trading post with the neighboring farmers. On the wall with the 7 commandments is says “4 legs good 2 legs bad” When did humans suddenly become friends of Napoleon? He traded many different things like lumber and other materials. As for buisiness Napoleon doesn’t handle his matters very intelligently.

Smashing Eggs!
By: The Chickens

“Oh great Comrade Napoleon, yes we’ll tend to your every need and desire.” That’s what is greatly expected, but as of today, the chickens are through with the non sense. All of the hens have been ordered to lay 400 eggs per chicken. Not only do they have to go though all the hard work of laying the eggs, but then they have to give them up! Napoleon needs the 400 eggs a week to sell to a farmer for money. He says with the money he can buy grain to feed the animals. The hens were furious with this decision made by Napoleon and wanted a say in what their options were too. They then decided to take action. They went on a strike and rebelled against Napoleon. The chickens fled to the top of the barn and when they needed to lay an egg, it fell and smashed on the barn floor. Some of the chickens had died in their rebellion and soon they couldn’t risk their lives and longer for the sake of the farm. Napoleon seems to get his way every time, no matter what the situation is. The eggs were sold by Napoleon and purchased grain and meal so they all could survive until the summer.

The Passing Away of a Great Leader.
By:Clover

external image TreeGravePS.jpg

A great hero and leader passed away today. Old Major gave wisdom and a lot of hope to all of us animals on this farm. It was only three days after he gave his big rebellion speech that old major died peacefully in his sleep at 12 years old. Through his life he had a total of 31 piglets. His full name was Willingdon Beauty but everyone called him old major. The rebellion speech will not ever be forgotten its given us animals a new out look on life and old major gave us the courage for this rebellion to start. We will not forget him and his ways on life. We will be burring him at the foot of the orchard tree.
